Travel | Mt. Samat Dambana ng Kagitingan Bataan

Hello Everyone! :) This is my first post in my travel category. I would like to share my experience when I visited one of the historical places in the Philippines. The Mt. Samat at Pilar, Bataan, Philippines.
Dambaba ng Kagitingan ( Shrine of Valor).

Anyway this post is a throwback. I went in this place it was September or October 2013. That time I was wearing heels going up on that top of mountain. Oh yeah, it's really a challenging, exciting, adventurous moment of my life. Hahaha. I really can't get enough though it's hard for me wearing heels but it's okay because it's really, really worth it. And I'm not the only one who wearing heels that time. :D

And finally, I have been in this place. I finally see the this cross closer to me. It was so PRICELESS.
I really, really love to capture those best moments of my life. Were so lucky coz it's a good sunny day.

Oh wait. Let me take a selfie. Hehe.

Self- eeing. My face so haggard.

I don't wanna miss a thing. Capturing the best shots. While waiting going up on that cross. I feel nervous that time coz I'm afraid of heights. I'm so tense, goosebumps, mixed emotions. But I don't want to miss not going up though it is limited time only. There a lot of people around me and I'm glad it's not obvious. I'm still take those best shots. :)

So amazing sculpture.

I'm on the top of the cross! Seriously I wan't to have some selfie but I'm scared. Haha. I really can't believe that I'm here one of the best moment of my life. Dreams really do come true. :)

Why I'm so addicted to LIFE. I'm on the TOP OF THE WORLD. :D

A breath taking moment. I realized there are a lot of things that I'm grateful for. Truly happy, thankful and blessed.
ALL THE TIME.

What a wonderful world. This is so unforgettable.
It's my first time going up here in a mountain.

All I can say is  PRICELESS.

Last selfie before I leave in this wonderful place. My super haggard face. I had only 2 hours sleep.

I love my shots. I can proudly say that I am a self- taught photographer. :D

The Colonnade.

The historical scriptures about the Battle of Bataan on the wall of Colonnade.

One of best days ever. I really, really love travelling. This place  remembers the sacrifice of the Filipinos and Americans during that time in World War II. One of the historical dates April 9 Ang Araw ng Kagitingan ( the Fall of Bataan). I can't remember all the details. Just google it.  I love history especially when I was in elementary and high school and not in college haha. I can't imagine that I was visited historical places so far, far away.

The Mt. Samat is located at Pilar, Bataan, Philippines.

It's more fun in the Philippines.
